Established as a sports content writing company in 2010 (as DB Sporting Enterprises Ltd), Authentic Content has expanded into several subject areas. Working with clients from across Europe, Authentic Content has provided content solutions for a wide range of websites, offering the highest quality, SEO-friendly content at competitive prices.
Vision
Our vision is simple: to create authentic, professional content that is engaging and effective.
All our content is written by UK-based professionals who’ve been educated to at least bachelor’s degree level at UK universities. We NEVER use AI to produce content.
Every article we produce is proofed and edited by one of our experienced editors before submission to clients.

About Robin
As well as being one of the founding Senior Editors, Robin runs the business side of Authentic Content. He writes and edits articles covering a wide range of specialist subjects including food and drink, travel, sport, health and nutrition, politics and personal finance.
Having completed a BA (Hons) degree in Philosophy and Politics at The University of Liverpool, Robin travelled the world and spent many years working in the adventure travel industry in various roles. A lifelong lover of most sports – but especially football and cricket – Robin began creating sports previews in 2009 before joining forces with Davey to create their content writing business, DB Sporting Enterprises Ltd (the forerunner of Authentic Content) in 2010.
An avid traveller who’s visited every continent except Antarctica (it’s on his list!), Robin recently started an indie-rock band (after Davey urged him to take up drumming). He occasionally enjoys watching Everton attempt to play football.
Davey Hanson
About Davey
Along with Robin, Davey is a Senior Editor and Content Writer at Authentic Content. His specialist subjects include sport, travel, politics, science, economics and finance, health and wellbeing.
After completing a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics and Mathematics at The University of Leeds, Davey travelled overland from Beijing to Singapore before working and travelling in Australia and exploring New Zealand and South America.
Like Robin, Davey worked in adventure travel upon his return to the UK before stints in insurance, the charity sector and, finally, as a careers advisor. He also completed a Master of Arts degree in Education with Linguistics.
After escaping from London, Davey joined forces with his old travel industry colleague Robin to create their bespoke content-writing business. Davey also started a (disco/funk/pop) covers band and began writing his first novel.
